To join or not to join? hmm +open+
« Thread Started on Mar 18, 2007, 11:40pm »

The flaming planet was starting to hide behind the mountain valleys. Afterimages dart around the surroundings, examining everything. Intruders motion back and forth noticing how much creatures roamed the wasteland. Fangz had intelligence and knew what realm was acceptable for a pack and what wasnt. This area seemed to hold a steady number of prey. Fresh aqua flow and shelter. A grunt was released from larynx with slight pleasure at the find.
Ebony epidermis warmth her within to cause a odd purring sound to rattle in torso. Embodiment dropped to the composition as front pillars cross as if a charming maid yet dangerous mirrors show the edge and strength that stirred within. Posterior curled around outline. Jowls part as a melody exits into the atmosphere. The tune is carried by a current across the wasteland, it was a call for the alpha of this land. Lippers peel into a sneer as she awaits a reply. Hopefully this bruthen wasnt a weak canine or she may have to challenge him. Lids narrow over sockets as if glowering at the heavens above yet she was testing the oxygen, nares sucked in seeing if any human aura tainted the air yet found now. A sign was exhaled. Good. Maybe she would live in peace for once.

(Re-using another post because I'm lazy. XP)

Long ago, just like the hearse you die to get in again,
We are so far from you,
Burning on just like a match you strike to incinerate,
The lives of everyone you know…

The sunset was beautiful today. Sitting at the exact peak of the plateau, Redrum on his lofty perch had a magnificent view of the whole valley, spread out before him with scenery even an artist with a canvas would find hard to capture with paints on the easel. Sighing quietly to himself, the brute’s breath spun before him in a small puff of steam, drifting away into the air and eventually vanishing into nothingness. Spring was upon the land, and the world seemed to be coming back to life, but that didn’t mean the evenings weren’t still chilly, and even with his thick fur Redrum could feel the pinch of it. His eyes shone in the dimming light, fiery colours streaked across the sky, as more of his many thoughts raced through his head. So much had happened recently – He had come to these lands at last, met wolves that had been here who had told him stories of how the humans used to look after them here, and how they suspected the mountains around this area to be haunted. Haunted, huh? The brute didn’t believe in ghosts or spooks, and truly he had no idea what the sounds could be, especially after hearing them himself from time to time, but he didn’t care, frankly. Whatever they were, as long as you had protection and enough to survive on you could take on whatever it turned out to be. That was what he was doing – Building the foundations to greatness in his new pack. He had had a few wolves entering his lands recently, and they had all been accepted if they were looking for a home. He needed as many members as he could get, and they would just have to ask if they needed a place to stay.

Almost as if on cue, he suddenly heard the sound of a female’s howl racing through the lands – His lands – And meeting his ears. His head immediately turned and he stood up, whipping around and raising his tail in a dominant manner, before he instantly trotted away to investigate. He would welcome new members, but he would also make sure to confront anyone who came here with more sinister ideas in mind. He had just claimed these lands and he wasn’t going to give them up without a fight, and he would take down whoever was foolish enough to think they could beat him. Eventually, as the trees started to thin slightly towards a small clearing on the plateau, he saw the form of a dark wolf becoming less and less visible in the slowly dying light, a shadowy glow covering her body as the curious light fell on her frame. He strode proudly forwards, not pausing for a second to show any signs of weakness, and he spoke softly and smoothly, his voice in the same cool tone it often was in these days. “May I help you?” He asked, tilting his head to one side. Who knew what this dame had come here for?

And what’s the worst you take,
From every heart you break,
And like the blade you stain,
Well I’ve been holding on tonight…

A chill raced down her spinal column as the flaming planet disappeared. Blackness painted over the atmosphere at once the realm started to creep with different life. Insects buzzed, flaps of wings both bird and bat and the steady heartbeat of slumbering creatures, sometimes a cry from the dying but it only would last moments before it was halted by death. Narrow tipped ears prickled upon massive skull as a sound of movement was caught within eardrums. Lippers slightly curl causing ivories to become visible in a clear exhortation. Plumage raised above vertebra, hackles bristled making her image look even more larger. Outline stalks in the darkness towards the brute, her figure seemed to be nothing but a shadow yet her icy mirrors were glowing. Sniffer inhales the oxygen around her, recording his own aura. A tiny sneer races over her mask features. I felt the need to explore this realm, maybe even join your pack, well I dont scent another of our kind. I guess your solo.

Her tone was calm yet held a edge to it as well, not in a threatening away but the femme was different, she didnt trust anyone. She wasnt a murderer by any means yet slaughtering never did bother the damsel. She watched her own siblings be killed by another wolf, the new brute leader of her old pack. Her wits saved her,it saved her many times, her amazing strength added to that as well. She dodged death daily and caused it for others. She only killed when it is needed. In brawls, she thinks it should end in death or whats the point of it? But she wasnt out to make waves.

Salmon drawn over jowls as she examined the brute closely. Noting his bold build, the shade of his epidermis but most of all, his glowing mirrors. She met his gaze and kept it. No emotions were upon her features or body position. She stayed blank awaiting his reply.
